What is Nutritional Therapy and how can it help you? Nutritional therapy is a holistic approach to health + wellness that focuses on using whole foods, diet, therapeutic nutrition and lifestyle changes to promote vibrant health (read: better energy, a clear mind, balanced weight, better sleep and so much more…) and prevent annoying health symptoms and dis-ease states.

The goal of nutritional therapy is to discover underlying imbalances, remove blocking factors — like junkie food, toxins, stress, emotional baggage — and provide necessary nutrients tap into your body’s innate healing ability (homeostasis) to optimize your body's functioning. Unlike conventional medicine this approach is “wholistic,” meaning the entire body is considered, mind, body and spirit.

There is no one-size fits all approach, each of us has a nutritional pattern as individual as our fingerprint. Nutritional Therapy seeks to discover that pattern. I listen and take into account your unique history, needs, preferences, and health conditions. I then combine elements of nutrition education, behavior change, and ongoing support to help you make sustainable and effective dietary + lifestyle changes that are effective and LAST… without suffering!

Conventional healthcare fails to ask why.

Instead of masking symptoms with medications, I encourage you to listen to what your body is telling you through these symptoms. You are not at war with your body. Given the proper support - via diet, lifestyle and therapeutic supplementation - your body will begin to utilize its own innate healing ability (homeostasis) to resolve symptoms on its own.

I believe your body is brilliant! Your symptoms are messages and when you listen to those messages, we can craft a tailored nutritional protocol designed for your specific needs. I prioritize 5 foundational body systems, instead of a specific disease or individual lab markers. This streamlines your protocol so you are not taking a million things, each for a different issue.

NORTH TO SOUTH

I take into consideration the biochemical cascades within your body. By addressing the northern (or upstream) areas first, such as brain function before hormone function, we can condense your protocol.

BIO INDIVIDUAL

While I do address body system in a certain order for best results, each protocol I create is tailored just for you. There are no 2 protocols alike because you are a unique individual with unique needs.

TIME

I listen to your needs. I do not rush through appointments. Many of my clients come to me feeling as if they have not been heard by their conventional practitioners. Listening is part of the healing process.

EMOTIONS

Your emotions significantly affect your physical body. Did you know that each of your organs can be connected to a specific emotion. An approach that does not address mind body and spirit is not complete.
